Celebrate with us as our annual Arts & Health Showcase returns with all its offerings!
We’re very excited to bring back our showcase performances in the theatre along with our gallery exhibition, lunch celebration, and afternoon workshops all on Friday, May 31st, at the Roundhouse.
Workshops
This year, we are bringing back a selection of free workshops by our projects’ lead artists. Participating in a workshop is optional and welcomes any current participant or guest to join in an artist-led session and try out one of the following art disciplines:
| Improv Theatre with Jeff Gladstone
Using paired and group exercises, explore the basic ideas of improv theatre. Jump in, participate and have some fun! No experience required. |
| Oil Pastel Image Transfer with Keely O’Brien
Try out a fun printmaking technique called oil pastel image transfer. Work with fellow participants to make an artwork together. No experience necessary. |
| Story Jam with Jim Sands & Kevin Li
Are you ready for something different? This experimental workshop will provide a fun and experiential introduction to the world of storytelling. Through a series of exercises we’ll learn what makes a good story and how to develop your story idea. Everybody is welcome. |
